Fun and affordable wine for a quick dinner. Would drink it again. — 6 years ago
Hot off the truck... I love the sweet-tart elegance and crisp, very clean finish. Hints of citrus (read blood-orange and ruby red grapefruit!), baking spice and a zippy laser-like finish promise to make this wine a spring/summer favorite. Kudos to the guys at Radio-Coteau for the third year in a row. So far my California 2016 roses have all been great! — 8 years ago
Wow! Zesty, got straight up dryed lemongrass with lemon juice, pith and a hard under ripe apricot and pith, and wild white flowers, that's pours acid all over your tongue that cascades with waves of minerality, the weight, the texture, the acid, so on point.
Sure to be a benchmark. — 10 years ago

@Ted Corvey Held onto it as long as I could. That's not to say I was saving it, but I just was waiting for the right time. Tonight was that time. I took refuge from the hordes playing Pokemon outside and cracked this bottle and poured a glass. Despite the deep purple robe, it doesn't even do the flavor justice. Humongous waves of plum, blackberry, and black cherry give way into cayenne with a hint of something I can't quite put my nose on. Huge tannins leave the palette simultaneously dry and salivating. It's a great wine, only deducted points because it's not my preferred style. Still, this is a wine to be respected. — 9 years ago
Stunning. Translucent ruby color, offering technicolor waves of leather, red fruiit, earth, and a bit of brett to keep it interesting, bound by well-integrated acidity and silky tannin. This is one of the best 1989s I've had, though the prominence of the red fruit is more reminiscent of the 1990. — 11 years ago

Very aromatic. Spicy and savory. Very flavorful but not sweet. Great finish — 8 years ago
Unfortified Fino showing much lower alcohol. If this style were more prevalent & available, I think I'd be all over it regularly. Electric & bright. Each sip more lively than the last. Aromatically, this comes at you in waves. Lemon & tarragon notes weave together across the nose. A unique & amazing bottle of wine. — 8 years ago
Everything great Bordeaux should be. Cork crumbled in the Durand but first sniff and I knew it was on. Waves of saddle leather, tobacco, cedar, forrest floor and cherries. The wine was intense but more feminine than I expected, a great balance. Truly one of the best and most memorable bottles I've had the last few years. This is what drinking wine is all about, experiences that shake you to your core. — 10 years ago
