Fortunate to have been gifted this bottle by a friend from this region in Italy. Gorgeous golden color, peach aromas and acidity that dances on the tongue. As expected, some RS but not over the top. A real treat! — 8 years ago
Great flavor and a tad spicy — 8 years ago

Complex nose of earth, olives and red fruit . In the mouth a battle royale of flavors with none of them able to eliminate another. — 10 years ago

Excellent Malvasia — 12 years ago
Plenty of depth here. Rich and vibrant with a dark plum colour in the glass and black fruit on the nose. A lot of length in the palate with blackberry, a subtle smokiness and vanilla oak. Paired with a grilled pork chop at Royale in Calgary. Delicious. — 6 years ago
Dark fruits, cherry, mushroom, a bit of oak. Should age well, great acidity and balance. Let it breath. — 7 years ago
2009 is wonderful right away.. Lovely peppery and deep cherry tones with dry finish.. Dennis's favorite and he even noticed the bottle in the train scene in Casino Royale movie! — 8 years ago

A wonderful well balanced red, with a full, fruity pallet and a sharp chocolate finish. Delicious with red meat and also a strong cheese but doesn't work well with a strong blue. Highly recommended. — 9 years ago
Had multiple times at Bistro Royale. Excellent French Malbec. Blueberries and menthol on the nose. Great flavor with dark cherry on the back and juicy dark fruits on the front. — 9 years ago
Reminiscent of Kir Royale with a little floral aroma - really opens up when decanted — 10 years ago
My favorite at the Seattle Wine & Food Experience. — 11 years ago
It was a battle royale in Saumur. All of these Chenins were great but both Guiberteau wines shined brighter than Rougeard.. Totally different styles for sure. The Rougeard was definitely a beautiful and unique wine. — 12 years ago
Excellent with grilled steak — 12 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 6 years ago
Kir Royale, always reminds my wife and I of drinks at The Canny Mans in Edinburgh.....:-) — 7 years ago
The smell of cherries is evident Doesn’t have an alcohol taste. No after taste has a thicker taste than what it looks like it would. Plus it’s kosher and can be used for Passover — 7 years ago
Such an enticing and exciting nose. Very drinkable, but noticeably better after letting it air. Little more sour than I generally prefer, but I think a lot of people would enjoy this one — 8 years ago
Picked this beauty for the Karisma Gourmet Inclusive Experience at El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya. Absolutely delicious. Best bottle of La Crema I have had the pleasure of drinking. Night 2 with my wife! — 9 years ago

This wine is a blend of 32%Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 19% Petit Verdot. This comes to us from the Columbia Valley in Washington State. The nose is a bit tight. There is a little heat with alcohol, I am sure if I let it set for awhile the alcohol will blow off and it will start opening up. I am getting some smoke, licorice, and vegetal notes. On the palate is a good smooth velvety mouth feel. Definitely more of the vegetal notes and dark bing cherries with a long clean finish. This a very nice MareLow based wine good right now but will be good to lay down for another 5-10 years. — 12 years ago
Got it at the El Dorado Royale Resort — 12 years ago
