Earthy, leather, big dried fruit. Tinto hortiz ? (Tempranillo). Needs years more. 2011 banner year for Douro. — 7 years ago
A very nice wine with good acidity to balance the red fruit. Thanks to Bob & Jory for bringing it over. — 7 years ago
Bubble gum nose / bubbles / lemon and orange peel/ pear/ slight mineral start / refreshing fruity finish — 8 years ago
Big wine for a relatively small price. Do yourself the favour. The 2014 vintage was wonderful in 2020. — 4 years ago
Smooth and balanced. Enjoyable with and without food, which is something that not all wines from Dão do. — 5 years ago
Clear pale lemon color.
Clean nose, medium(+) intensity. On the nose, primary aromas of pear, lime, nectarine and pineapple, with tertiary aromas of marzipan.
Off-dry, medium(+) acidity, low tannin, medium alcohol, medium bodied, medium(+) flavor intensity. Long finish. — 5 years ago
Concentrated chocolate had at total wine sample — 6 years ago
Storng alcohol burn, typical porto aroma married to nutty and black fruit smells. Very caramel-y and raisin-y with medium body and a long surprisingly toasty finish. Like toasted rice crispies. First 10 yr old port I've had and I like it. Pairs well with fudge with peanut putter — 8 years ago
A gift from my brother, we enjoyed for my hubby’s birthday. Delicious — 5 years ago
Super soft and refreshing. Notes of guava. Good harmonization with fish and seafood. — 5 years ago

Full body. Deep plum flavor. Very lingering finish with subtle spice notes. Still wine. Amazing. — 6 years ago
No doubt about its excellence. Old-school aromas, from long-aging in old wood and bottle. Not as ethereal as the best Brunellos and more earthly, but just as fine. — 6 years ago

Enormous. This has stuffing for excellent drinking in the now-to-5-years range but I'm not sure its built for the long haul. Give it good long decant and get it below room temp. — 8 years ago

White chocolate covered cherries, pralines, pecan pie. I think, I may like this better than TF10.
