Weird weird weird. Loved it. Great bridge between a dry rose and my next red.. If you can accept the crazy smell of dusty dirty old clothes, you'll love it. — 9 years ago
Spicy, soily like the aroma of fresh dirt & chocolate sprinkles. I just enjoy this wine. — 9 years ago

Nose is apple, fresh and light. In the mouth very light and jovial as well. Fruity and then lightly bitter on the finale. Very feminin and elegant. — 8 years ago
What can be said about d'Yquem can only be expressed in poetry, even in a modest vintage like 1998. It is an inner sanctum, a fragrant garden, a poignant release that is both profound and glorious. Descriptors cannot do it justice, sensual and honey-drenched layers of apricots, vanilla bean, creme brûlée and almond pastry. Viscous and glycerol-laden in the mouth, offset by dazzling acidity, dried fruit—quince, more apricots. A silken, pure, honey-spun web of delight. I'm rambling, but d'Yquem does that. — 8 years ago
2010. Kind of in a dumb phase, but very good and lots of potential. — 9 years ago

Pure. Beautiful cherry notes. Not a great vintage, but a great wine. This is how Grenache should be expressed. — 11 years ago
