2016 was a warm year in the Okanagan Valley.
Block 4 shows more red fruit compared to Block 2 which is blue fruit inclined.
The vines are 23 years old.
Dark cherry red in the glass with earthy flavours of cherries, dark raspberries, dried herbs and anice.
This wine has a lingering finish that stays for with you for several minutes. We pizza from scratch (our own dough) with local Matsutake mushrooms and thinly sliced local duck breast.

Hearty cab with mild to medium tannins. Opened up well after sitting for a while - better on day 2 and definitely with food. Fairly dark, reflective of the dark red and black berries that come through. — 6 months ago
