17 Very Meursault, not outstanding. Vintage? — 7 months ago
Drinking well in early 2025 for the 2018 vintage. It took a few years to get off the rough edges. $21. — 10 months ago
first romorantin! very mineral, lots of salt, highly acidic at the front. smells spiced and like quince and a little pear. would be good w something buttery — 3 months ago
See previous Delectable notes. Mid lemon in colour - brilliant clarity. On the nose and palate notes of ripe grapefruit, fresh herbs, wet stone and minerals. Medium plus acidity. The following night it still retains the tension and power when initially tasted. — 4 months ago
Savoury and balanced. Maybe a little short for the age. — 5 months ago
Way fuller than gevrey, much more dark fruit — 8 months ago
About every quarter or so i get to try a wine which just strikes me like thunder - this is such a wine. This one has a story (I met Pacalet in Encinitas - a total introvert but genius and bought 6 bottles). Earth, autumn leaves, iron, hint cherry, tannins fully resolved. Tamarind? Touch tumeric. A wine at its peak. 🍑 Peach!!! Heaven on earth what a wine! — 10 months ago
Previous bottle tasted a year ago in September 2024. Mid lemon in colour. Aromatics of struck match, white flowers, lemon and sea spray. Hasn’t got the delicious ripe fruit I am used to with Australian Chardonnay but it does have its charm and attraction in a more mineral restrained style. — 3 months ago
