Love this Marlborough Sav Blanc. Beautifully balanced sweet stone fruit and tangy acidity. — 8 years ago
Robust, bold, oaky and slightly fruity. This is a perfect wine. Thoroughly enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Delicious, long finish, light-medium tannins with mature fruit. — 9 years ago
2009-Retail $54; paid $44 with club discount; rich bouquet; great legs; medium body and slightly tannic finish; a little young; worth buying again and keeping another year or two. — 10 years ago

Prety damn for a merlot! — 13 years ago
It’s time for #MerlotThursday. Here is a delicious one from Napa Valley.
Dark inky in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of blackberries, black plums, figs, dried fruits, cooked raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cloves, light vegetables, cola, earth, chocolates, tobacco, mocha and black pepper.
Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, vanilla, cedar, earth, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, mocha and coke.
Long finish with firm tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Merlot from Napa Valley. Big bold and beautiful.
Showing a great mouthfeel with nice complexity, once it's opened up. Intense, rich and extracted. Teeth staining color. I've had it many times and it is very consistent.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins. So give it time.
I've had this vintage 6 months ago and it is showing nicer now.
Good by itself or with food. A great sipping wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
93 points.
$40. — 6 years ago
Totally shocked by this wine. It was good when we first tried it back in 2008, I think. Was half-expecting this to be okay initially then die quickly, but it is impressive. Great nose of dried currants mixed with leather - classic older cab - with some cool spice notes on the edge. Extremely balanced on the palate, great flavors and expansion, with a smooth, lingering finish. I have not been that impressed with the more recent vintages from Peju, but their older cabs are rockin’ it. — 7 years ago
Fantastic. Black fruit, pencil, cedar, spices. Long finish — 8 years ago
Just received in wine club shipment and thought would give a try. I don't have the nose some do so will just say it was a very nice wine. Had some strong tannins and is a somewhat spicy wine on the back end. The second glass was much smoother than the first. I did enjoy the wine but not my favorite and probably a bit overpriced at retail. Would be interested to see how it drinks in 5 years though. — 9 years ago
Not as good as the 2002. Still damn good though. — 10 years ago
Good quality chardonnay in the modern stainless steel style. A bit of peach and vanilla and a slight bit of clove late. — 10 years ago
Good wine with lots off fruit still. The first bottle was corked. But number two was delightful. — 10 years ago
A long way for a BC guy to go for a Pinot Gris. Tasty journey though. — 11 years ago
Love it. Even more than the regular zin they have. — 12 years ago
Smooth and full bodied. — 6 years ago
Wow: 16 years and drinking incredibly well. Classic older cab aromas - dried currants, leather notes - coupled with terrific balance. I can't believe how together this wine is after all this time. Just outstanding. This will probably last a few more years, but I really can't imagine this improving. Drink up and enjoy! — 8 years ago
2011 - luscious bouquet; great body and legs, smooth long finish; a very nice "next level" Peju Cab definitely worth revisiting. — 8 years ago
This was difficult, the 2nd day was way better than the first day using Coravin.
Would need to retry this. — 8 years ago
Smoked prime rib dinner accompaniment. For 20 years old this wine is still vibrant.
Cassis, coffee, black plum and vanilla aromas. Tip-of-the-tongue sweetness with buoyant cranberry, toffee, and framboise.
Finish lingers mid-palette for a good while. Great wine but I need to finish off the few bottles left of this wine in the cellar. — 9 years ago
So good! Acidity with bright strawberry. Great summer sipper. — 10 years ago
Great summer wine. — 10 years ago
A unique wine! Red/white blend- served chilled. It tastes like a fruit-forward White/rose on the palate (cranberry), but finishes like a Cab or Zin. Light spice/pepper/oak. A "real wine" Sangria! — 11 years ago
Great flavor with hits of earthy blueberry and slight spice. — 12 years ago
