Yes! After a 2016 at a recent tasting that didn't deliver, this was firing at all cilinders 🚀🚀🚀 — 6 months ago

Schiste Vin de pays d'Allobrogie Altesse 2018

One of loveliest whites I’ve tasted in recent memory. Floral, mineral, crisp, a touch of Roussanne richness...balance and Alpine purity. Looking forward to sipping this on a future trip to Chamonix. — 6 years ago

Grenache and Mourvèdre. Juicy red and blue berries. VA in a good way - carrot, dill. Pepper, tarragon, and dried black tea. Medium acid, medium plus to elevated tannins, 13% abv. Elevated intensity and long finish. — 6 years ago

Rosé Frizant Vin de Pays de l'Hérault Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2021

The QPR across the Daumas lineup has always astounded me, & this rose sparkling is no different: fine mouse & a clean, detailed palate, all fresh cut strawberries. Nice balance too between dry & fruitiness,& just enough heft to carry this past a toast into a first course. — 3 years ago

Expression d'Orthogneiss Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Melon de Bourgogne

From Domestique 4/13/19 for tagine, but only opened 2013 in garden on 4/27/19. Chlorine smell for J; lemon, thyme, chives, cloves, vanilla. Mouthfeel and long finish of pine. Pretty rich for Muscsdet. Expected salinity. Malted Easter egg shells. — 7 years ago

This ain’t Rayas. Would be great at $20, but the pedigree has this way overpriced these days. — 6 months ago

Daumas Gassac

Vin de Pays de l'Hérault White Blend 2013

Great Mas de Daumas Gassac with age. Claud has the 2014 on the main list and the 2013 on the longer list. Same price! Great call to get the 2013. Nice, fresh, rich. Had with an assortment of seafood starters (red shrimp, hamachi) and with the ham with sunchokes and chicken liver agnoloti. — 8 months ago

Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet (Hervé Souhaut)

"Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet" Vin de Pays de l'Ardèche Blanc Viognier Roussanne

Golden colour in the glass. Tropical fruit nose of pineapple, banana, wet stone, vanilla, oak, toasted nuts. Palate confirms this with pineapple/banana notes, medium acidity, long finish. Overall, beautiful rich white, taste almost reminds me of a fruit cup you'd eat in elementary school... in a good way! — 5 years ago
