Very easy drinking Italian red — 10 months ago
Great wine! Rond, light, complexe, dark fruits !
Great discovery 👏 — 3 years ago
Had the 2023 in January of 2025. First sip out of the glass was strange. Kind of sour fruit, butter and wood. Gave it time to breathe and swirled in the glass and then it was really good. Light fruits- dark cherry and blackberry. Hints of wood and leather in the finish. I always tend to jump right in. Have a decanter but don’t always head to it based on other people’s comments, I probably should have! But time in the glass was kind. Was a very interesting wine that I would love to have again. — 6 months ago

This Italian IGT from Central Tuscany is truly a great representation of Merlot and Sangiovese blend is all about. What a great combination, this wine opens up with a unique aroma of red fruits, baked dark cherries and chocolate. Very soft tannins, smooth to the very end. Long but over lingering finish. Loved its balanced acidity and mouthfeel. — 6 months ago
Jamaica allspice submerged in black cherry, black raisin, African violets, red roses, cooked poppyseed, grilled, wine marinated steak with rosemary garnish. The palate is silky with medium mouthfeel and stealthy tannic hooks are whisked away like burrs and prickles on a satin sock. Sweet Connecticut wrap of tobacco is assisted by a minute mocha and black peppercorn. This took a while to open, surprisingly, but well worth the wait!

A full bodied, high tannin, dry wine without as much of a bite as others in this category. Notes of cherry blackberry and raisin are well balanced and gentle with regard to aftertaste. This is a versatile table wine with regard to pairings. — a month ago
