Jamaica allspice submerged in black cherry, black raisin, African violets, red roses, cooked poppyseed, grilled, wine marinated steak with rosemary garnish. The palate is silky with medium mouthfeel and stealthy tannic hooks are whisked away like burrs and prickles on a satin sock. Sweet Connecticut wrap of tobacco is assisted by a minute mocha and black peppercorn. This took a while to open, surprisingly, but well worth the wait!

Dark fruit. Hints of green pepper, blood and Smokey red fruit. Intense and very pure on the palate. Dark fruit, great texture and persistence. Lovely mouthfeel.

Pencil lead, cooked fig, dark chocolate, vanilla; incredible balance between the juicy acidity and smooth yet grippy tannins. Perfect time to drink!

From a mag and what a offering. I think drinking at it apex right now. Excellent.

At peak, I would not wait any longer
Lots of flavor, personality and complexity
Long and aristocratic
I must admit I wasn't too impressed with this bottle though

Very nice freshness out of 375. Opened to red cherry, oregano, vanilla.

375ml - Drinking as you'd expect, ripe, extracted, there is a drying earthiness to the finish, but it looks so new world it's off putting, I don't think this region should be trying to emulate California.

A good amount of peppery spice tobacco a bit of a band aid quality with cedar dried tobacco and a good amount of dark currant, not a great vintage from bolgheri fermented in stainless Steel aged in French oak for up to 24 months. Quite smooth and drinkable with that nuance from the nose through the finish still quite fresh but tannins are quite smooth. Excellent
