It’s 1/2 bottle n/v Billecart evening.
This is a more appropriate color of rose for the Rosé color of this champagne.
My go to n/v Rosé Champange for a number of reasons…quality & 1/2 bottle availability are right up there.
Blood orange, black cherries, Rainer cherries, lean strawberries, pomegranate juice, hints of raw rhubarb, grainy, grippy, sharp chalkiness, crunchy volcanics, limestone, sea fossils, baguette crust, deep white spice, orange lilies, peach roses, excellent, lively acidity with a rich, well balanced smart finish that starts clean, ripe fruits falling onto perfect minerality. — 3 years ago
Shabbat shalom! Delicious. Minimal aftertaste. Satisfied a three day red wine craving. — 4 years ago
1985 DRC Grandes Echezeaux carries the magical scent of that makes you dream with more of this bottles. Intense and vibrant red fruits, spices, earthy & roses. The palate still dense, complex, a work of art! — 5 years ago

Time Tested
03 was historically hot & dry. Did Monprivato succeed despite these conditions?
DAY 1
Served the wine with the Vinloq System which allows nitrogen to be pulled into the bottle with pouring
👀Brown/orange mixed with red
👃Cherries, tobacco, tar & roses. Some stewed/dried fruit
👅Mature. Florals and fruit are present. Light. Could use more acid. Easy to drink. Balanced
Remaining wine Slow Decanted in my fridge
DAY 10
Nice aged notes. Savory. Okay precision. Tannins are good. Kept improving in the glass
DAY 17
👃Classic & beautiful with aged notes. Finally what I was hoping for👍
👅Drinking well. Cherry. Significant tar. Savory
Similar on the 3 days, but the nose was most beautiful on DAY 17
The pedigree was apparent here in this lovely barolo despite the vintage conditions. Balance was retained with enough precision to allow the Mascarello Monprivato personality to come through👏 — 2 years ago
Exquisite. Balanced. Floral notes and balanced with white and pale yellow fruits. Enjoy alone or with food. Just so elegant. — 3 years ago

Had the 2009 vintage in July 2019 in Kairon with family for birthday celebration. Excellent. — 5 years ago
Powerful but not overpowering. Layers of apples, apricot and some sweeter notes of honey as well. Good acidity and a long finish. Opened the bottle and enjoyed throughout our lunch. Paired it with the the fish dishes to start and even the two tomato sauce based pastas. Stands up fine to the bigger dishes. — 5 years ago
Awesome. More soon. ….Drinking this wine is like sitting on the sofa with a big bar of dark chocolate. Very port like. Roses, leather, classic. Very dry dried figs. Plenty of tannins left. Could run for 10 more years with ease. 400$ now. Just drank a second and last bottle. One of the best Barolo’s money can buy. — 8 months ago
Fresh and clean great texture — 2 years ago
Third rating for this: started at 10 degrees , and warmed up to around 15-18 in a warm 29 degrees tropical Singapore. Was fresh, crisp, lemon-like at first, followed by zesty mandarin orange flavours that finally matured to mellow honey apricots. Best of all coloured like the upcoming Chinese New Year - perfect gold. — 3 years ago
One of the smoothest, most flavorful whiskies I have tried. — 4 years ago

Nice color. No real sediment, just a touch cloudy on the last pour. Let this aerate in my glass for 4 hours before drinking
👃Red fruit but especially pretty with roses, dried fruit, tea, tar, and menthol. Just beautiful
👅Red cherry and blue fruit, tar, earth, mushroom, tea and herbs. Some tannic grip remains but this is silky. The finish is quite long with a touch of acidic bitterness. A bit of volatile acidity in the form of acetone, but not really distracting. Medium body. Composed and elegant.
Such a treat to share this legend with great friends. Sorry Vinloq, there was nothing to save as this was happily emptied🍷🍷 — 4 months ago
