Amazing! Funky awesomeness. — 7 years ago
Wonderful abundance of fine bubbles!! Pear..apple cider...apricot..yeast rolls...honey and nutmeg! A little age on this bubbly enhanced these flavors amazingly! I have had this
Wedding Cuvee frequently over the years..75% Pinot Noir & 25% Chardonnay..always delicious!
BUT....I will never forget the bottle I LOST!! I kept a bottle of this...Special...for after running a Marathon...excited..worn out...forgot it in the freezer! My son 14 at the time actually feel on the floor laughing!! Yep....that bottle exploded all over the kitchen and dining room ceiling when I pulled the cork!! 😢 I did not even get half of a glass.... — 7 years ago

Over 200 varieties in blend, says the label., 6.8% abv, unfiltered. Website says Dungeness is a single orchard blend. A still cider, little head or bubbles on pour. Light golden brown in color, very good clarity. Baked apple aromas, reminded me of an apple pie or cobbler with cinnamon, but that's my brain searching for cinnamon where there is none. Buttery mouthfeel, malic and citric acidity. Dry and really nuanced flavor profile. Tart malic finish and aftertaste with mild bitterness. No apparent seed tannins or astringency. This is what really fine apple wine tastes like, uncarbonated. A surprisingly unique and pleasurable experience, worth trying once, even if it's not a style for you. Kudos, Alpenfire! — 7 years ago
Served around 47 degrees which is perfect. Apple flavors (think cider, not fruits). Lees, fine bubbles and a great finish. SS — 9 years ago
Bright, with notes of fresh cider. A little yeasty with a very fine bubble. Great alone or with food. — 9 years ago
Bone dry and very elegant with super fine bubbles. Champagne-esque. Nice lingering toastiness and mineral tone on the finish. — 6 years ago
I like to thank @Severn Goodwin for his kindness & generosity for sending this beautiful bottle of Champagne.
We shared this with friends and paired this with apple walnut vinaigrette salad last night. Complimented the salad nicely. It was a nice yin and yang balanced tug of war of food & wine.
The body is beautiful in the mouth with nice acidity. Bruised apple & pear, some apple cider, pineapple juice, lime zest & candy, white peach, easy, soft chalkiness, soft, fine, grey volcanic minerals, sea spray, brioche with spring flowers and yellow lilies. Finishes softly, elegant, nicely balanced and persists nicely.

GW says no longer labeled as vouvray, though it comes from within the appellation. Lovely, dry, very fine. My thoughts—almost cider tones. Terrific. — 7 years ago
Fine spice, vanilla, pepper; red fruits, strawberries, red cherry, with a hint of apple cider; smoke and leather; tannins are firm still. Could cellar for many more years. — 8 years ago
I'm not sure the world of fine beverages is ready for this but this is one of the most interesting culinary creations I have come across this year. This is absolutely a 'have this with food' drink. So refreshing. Such good value and culinary creativity on display. — 9 years ago
Some of the best bubbles I’ve had, so fine and lively. The flavor is good, but a little one note, apple cider. I’ve had comparable bottles at half the price. — 6 years ago
At the Emirates Business Lounge in Dubai. Not quite the lounge services they advertise in their Business Class Service video in Dubai on their website. Overall, still ok. I was looking forward to the world’s only Moet & Chandon Champagne Bar and some 09 vintage Moet & Chandon but, I guess that is really only in the First Class Lounge. I’ll have to settle for this Imperial. Any good lawyers out there want to sue them for deceptive advertising? 🤣 Also, the shoe shine was not included. It was the most expensive shoe shine I’ve had. And, never actually included black polish! Hmmm? 🤔
As for the Imperial, not bad but, not the 09 vintage I had hoped for! Oh well! 🤷♂️
The nose reveals, nice light citrus blend, green apple, bruised red apple to cider, pineapple, a little lime candy, tropical melons, some white peach, cream soda, brioche, soft chalkiness, understated minerality, spring & yellow flowers with greens.
The body full and pleasant. Soft understated mousse and delicate on the palate. Light citrus blend, green apple, red apple with a slight lean into cider, pineapple, a little lime candy, tropical melons, some white peach, cream soda, brioche, soft, fine powdery chalkiness, subtle minerality, sea spray, spring & yellow flowers with greens. The acidity not as lively as I would prefer. The finish is rich, elegant but, lacks a certain wow factor. — 7 years ago

Aged for 12 years. Luscious cider/cognac on the nose, fine bourbon on the palate. — 7 years ago
Hands down best cider ever tasted. Super fine bubbles that were champagne like. Tasted like freshly pressed apple juice that had been carbonated. Brilliant. £16 from Noble Farringdon. — 8 years ago
Still so young and tight. lot of concentration and structure. Iron, bacon, and some campfire on the nose. Black raspberry, plum, strawberry, apple cider. Such fine tannins it's gorgeous. Wanna come back in 10 years. So juicy yet with a core of minerality that soars — 9 years ago
Beautiful stuff that never disappoints. Golden & green apple, apple cider, bruised pear, pineapple flesh, tangerine, touch of honey, citrus blossoms, amazing fine chalk, tiny bubbles and crisp dead on acidity. Cheers & remembrance to all the people lost, who are missed and the ones that loved them! #neverforget911 — 9 years ago
Deep dark opaque purple in color. Yeasty black currant seed on nose., with high honeyed apple scent on top. Good appley snap or tartness on front in mouth with black currant juice flavor plus its seed and skin tannins on finish. Slight astringency from apple in aftertaste. A fine sipping cider, well made and structured, complex — 10 years ago

Bouquet is reserved, holding back the normal notes, but I do sense a subtle honey perfume.
Primary notes of cider and pears. Great to drink, but missing some complexity. I like the slight fine bubbles. A bit boozy too, which is interesting. — 5 years ago
