Great vintage, soulful rendition of Nebbiolo, but just know it’s more like a 3 minute Stax records hit, rather than a long play jam of, say, Les Mcann Compared To What. Still, for20$, I’d choose it most days of the week. Some of that burnished leather furniture & forest floor is coming through the Nebbiolo, & so it’s more black fruited & evocative than peppy. Just know it’s a shorter finish. — 7 months ago

So far so good. Just opened and letting it sit. Dark fruit with some mint and cedar. Fairly acidic and tannic at first. One hour in fantastic marzipan turning to tar and camphor. Day two still tarry nose and fairly acidic mouthfeel. Happy to let it sit. — 6 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple of hours. No formal notes. As others have stated in previous TN’s, this is simply too young. The fruit is gorgeous and the winemaking is very good however, I find it to be too primary for my liking. Even after a few days, it was unwilling to develop. It’s balanced with sufficient structure to age well…and I suspect quite gracefully. I swooped up a couple of bottles and I’ll plan to forget about my remaining bottle for at least a decade. Better after 2026 and probably best after 2031. — 5 months ago
Wowza! A big nose of tar & blood oranges. Both day 1 and 2. A minimally f’d with Nebbiolo from a cooler site, put into large Slovenian oak. Not forever, but enough. No wood apparent. But it’s luscious, just short of full. ( There have been Baroli pass these lips that were not up to this). A hidden gem. — 7 months ago
Gentle honey and fruit notes with a dry finish. Delicious chilled and refreshing — 10 months ago
Dedication ,labor of love, patience and traditional attention to the details results in this excellent and smooth savory wine. Rich medium red, ripe red plum followed with a pleasant peppery suggestion. Great wine, excellent pairing with Shrimp Diablo. — 3 years ago
