2014 vintage. Heavy bod. Darker than the liquid that pours out during your thrice postponed, oil change. Easy to slip into with some back-end, palate boxing kerfuffle. If decade-old, $$ Napa Malbec moved the needle, this would rule the roost. 03.19.25. — 7 months ago
Mount V just makes lovely Cab Savs! Still had tannin structure for 3-5 additional years of cellaring. — 10 months ago
Very fruity for a cab, for me. Rich deel@berry flavor, light tan in. Would reach for again — 2 years ago
1996 Calera Jensen Mt. Harlem Pinot Noir
Our New Year’s Eve wine is 1996 Calera Jensen Mt. Harlen Pinot Noir. The oxidation is prevalent. After 25 years, the wine has certainly passed its prime, but it is fun enough to enjoy. Goodbye 2021.
大晦日、2021年最後のワインは、1996年Calera Jensen Mt. Harlen Pinot Noir。酸化はだいぶ進んでいる。25年の時を経て、確かに飲み頃を過ぎてはいるが、十分に楽しめるワイン。 2021年よ、さよなら。

Amazingly perfect — 5 months ago
Purchased at the winery on my single visit there, had gone to pick up the Syrah, and was very taken with this tiny production Mondeuse. Rich, but not heavy, rustic in some ways, but amazing “mountain fruit” depth and great acidity which largely hides the structure and tannins, long, lingering finish, needs a fair amount of cellaring, though beautiful tonight!! — 6 months ago
Blend of 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby with rich aromas of dark ripe fruit and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum with tobacco, cacao and cedar. Fine firm tannins, long finish ending with balanced mineral wrapped in cacao, tobacco and oak. A solid Merlot. — 9 months ago
Great with Cuban! — a year ago
Bold berries up front. Dry middle. No lingering aftertaste. Great cab. — 3 years ago
Dark cherry, cigar box, leather, plum. Not overly high in tannin. Good acidity with average heat. Complex build. — 4 years ago
One of the first vineyards we visited on our first trip to Napa. This was part of a Valentine’s Day tasting they did. Partial to 2010’s because that is the year we got married, so it all worked out. Amazing wine and we can’t wait to open the older ones we are sitting on. — 5 years ago
Drinking wonderfully at present! — 7 months ago
Leave this open at least one hour before consuming. Rich Cabernet Sauvignon with leather and smooth tannins in the finish. Nice example of California Cabernet Sauvignon but not extraordinary. — 9 months ago

Really good!
1hr+ decant. Drinking at its apex. Dark red color with purple rims. Super complex nose with too many things to list. Palate is equally complex with Napa sweetness, big tannins, and it just sticks to your mouth/tongue. Medium plus depth and finish. — 5 months ago
