Great wine for everyday drinking. Big, round Smooth and supple, slightly sweet and well balanced. Low tannins are a plus! Loved the 2016 a bit more. The 2017 is right there....enjoy! You know what? This wine is pretty good for $15 price tag! I like their motto: “a pessimist is never disappointed “. And that sums up my evaluation of the wine. Dark in the glass. Smells good, kind of like dusty ripe fruit. And it is tasting really nice! Sort of sweet, but thick dark and mysterious with a tannic bite. 2011 is about the most solid Blaufrankish you can drink, excellent offering by Velich and Schuster under Moric. Their motto is “Fruit ferments. People ferment fruit. It’s a challenge.” 2011 is fresh black cherry, a funky acid core, with an after taste that lasts a weekend.
