This is Rosé. Direct press, lean, high-acid, weightless on the palate with delicate fruit and taut with minerality. Can handle any item in one of my backyard BBQ nights. “Like drinking clouds.” — 7 years ago
Heady mushroom and a little black wood funk adjusts to clean lemongrass and white lavender with a light crepe aroma. Lemon curd and white pepper with the finest mousse that envelopes the palate completely, and beckons the lemon oil and mascarpone toast and pomelo marmalade. The culmination of these flavors lingers ethereal, floating atop chalky clouds and lime and floral essences. #grandcruvalue #grandcru #PaulEtienne #bubbles #blancdeblancs #frenchwine — 8 years ago
Very, very soft and delicate without much spice. Build and stays without. — 8 years ago
No new oak, very soft. From arras vineyard. — 8 years ago
The website claims that the wine tastes “the way Pinot Grigio used to taste before it became so popular.” That statement probably lost something in the translation from Italian, but I get their drift.
This Pinot Grigio is, in fact, “not your standard” stuff. The pale golden wine is aromatic enough, with a floral sensibility and a prominent overlay of minerals. A smoky character clouds those flowers and a basket of limes joins the aroma of wet rocks. The palate is pretty exciting, and I don’t have to qualify that statement with “for a Pinot Grigio.” It’s loaded with lemon and lime zest and strident acidity with a delicious salinity on the finish.

Almost raspberries and saraspailla. Good texture and balance. — 8 years ago
1 of the 4 Champagne elements release series (fire, earth, air, and water). The L'air was such an awesome find (current and last release was "O", or water). It is lifted much like clouds ( beautiful sweet brioche toast notes, lemon zest, dried peaches, spiced honey, and and nutmeg. The pallet was creamy and full - full of baked golden apples, créme bruleé, toasted almond, and a bright lasting finish. I think this was an outstanding, and brilliant wine for under $90... yumm mmmm. Happy Valentine's Day! — 8 years ago
Soft and pure fruit. Very gentle soft finish. Plenty of acid but aslo rounded fruit. — 8 years ago
I normally only drink unoaked Chardonnay but thought I’d try this one. I’m showing off my Key West wine glass because I have a lovely sunset in the front of my house and thunder and clouds at the back of the house! 🤨 this wine has a creaminess to it that I didn’t know wine could have, also lots of citrus and tropical fruit. Very nice. I chose to sit in the back and listen to the thunder with this one. ⚡️ — 7 years ago

Iighter than the Barossa mataro but lots of punch. — 8 years ago
Profound. Still powerful, yet with elegance and grace that belies its ancient wisdom. Supremely balanced between dried plums and blackberries smeared across a weathered leather saddle with a cigar box in the corner of the room and Coltrane wafting through the clouds of sandalwood. — 8 years ago
