More structure, lots of fruit, lavender, higher alcohol, big mouthfeel, scrubby herbs and herbal. Dry, really good! Some good white grape smell, floral.

Smells a bit like a watermelon Jolly Rancher with a touch of Queen Anne cherry. I am no fan of watermelon candy, but in this case this is paradoxically a good thing because underneath are hints of what I can only conceive of as the smell after a crisp, cool mountain rain shower in the summertime just as the sun begins to peak out from behind the clouds. That failed attempt at poetry could also simply be communicated as a "promise of minerality," which is apparent in the flinty taste, as are tantalizing spicy notes that suggest the robust potential of the grapes. This is a winner for all occasions that demand a complex, rewarding, and eminently affordable rosé.
