A perfect sushi wine. $28 as a SommSelect choice. 2nd time around. Can’t be beat for the price. Decant 30 minutes. — 8 years ago
Incredible. A marker for this grape. Period. — 9 years ago
Five years on this is extremely impressive. Acid is still so prominent but complimenting it's drive — 10 years ago
George gave us samples at Privada. Both liked. He says it's pretty reasonably-priced, around $17 — 10 years ago
Belated thanks to @Christian Stachel for bringing good cheer to our new building! Next time I promise more appropriate drinking vessels. — 11 years ago
2010 vintage, Spätlase Trocken. Beautifully balanced, hints of petrol mixed with pineapple brulée. Lingering dry finish. — 11 years ago
Really excellent cote du Rhone from rasteau region. Tremendous wine for the money. — 11 years ago

Thick, lush white blend Chateauneuf du Pape, mild fruit, but dry, at Joshua’s in Wells Maine — 8 years ago
Tropical fruit on the nose(maybe mango?) And honeysuckle. Apple notes with a mineral finish. Definitely sweet but beautifully balanced with acid. — 8 years ago
Exquisite wine, sav blanc continues to blow my mind! — 10 years ago
Heres the funk I am looking for! Wet wool hits you in the face, while underripe green pear, beeswax, jalapeño skin, and crushed macadamia and bitter almond add a lovely nutty element. Richer mouthfeel with m+ body for a Sancerre, it's palate coating and gives off great texture. The acidity is not the typical punch that I'm used to but it finishes elegant and well rounded. Not your typical Sancerre but really lovely none the less. — 10 years ago
Beautifully balanced with good fruit notes and acidity. — 11 years ago
Someone told me this didn't suck. They were right. — 11 years ago
Has evolved into very unctuous ripe, even baked, pineapple and creamy coconut, a little papaya and mango. Still maintains a slatey note but is much more to the mature tropical fruit qualities than I remember from tasting the wine when it was younger. Delicious! — 12 years ago
Still kickin! — 13 years ago
Look at that Fucking color. Yes that is what Pinot is supposed to look like. Gorgeous. Unreal nose. Sour cherries, dry leaves, pinpoint precision. Takes 45 minutes to an hour before the symphony begins. But the unfurling and aromatic nuances are just gorgeous. The fruit is almost non existent on the nose the first 15-30 minutes then BAM! Palate is just amazing. Red Riesling on another level. This showing reminds me of Möbitz. It’s so ethereal and lacey. Stunning. Amazing delicate and refined red cherry fruit. More mid to early season cherries and gloriously juicy and perfectly ripe. This is so fine. Velvety and delicate Lacey tannins weave in and out of the finish. Stunning almost silly freshness. Stellar. — 7 years ago
Lost self control and opened with crab cakes and seared scallops. Want more of this to lay down. So much wine for the money. Touch of petrol, nice stone fruit, and mouthwatering acidity. — 8 years ago
2005 vintage on De 20, 2017 at Sun River, OR with skillet roasted lemon chicken (Ina Garten). Tasted alongside a 1999 Raptor Ridge Shea Vineyard to compare and contrast. Elegant and mature C-d-Pape at the peak of its life. Fully developed with a lot of great life left but also no need to wait to drink. This why we love C-d-Pape. Bought at K&L wine auction in 2017. — 9 years ago
Very minerally...liked it. Better on the first day — 10 years ago
Intriguing nose of white/pink flowers and a mechanic's greasy wrench. Wild fruit bomb finish. Immediate pleasure. The most rambunctious of them all. — 11 years ago
Impeccable balance — 11 years ago
Hint of Apple, perfect to transition between cheese and dessert. — 11 years ago
Great wine from Waitrose yummy ready to drink as soon as it's opened — 13 years ago
