Outstanding. Still solidly in its drinking window; classic big, complex Martinelli Zinfandel. Absolute favorite!

The 2020 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch is a very pretty, exotic wine. Tangerine oil, passionfruit, dried flowers, mint, almond and chamomile give the Zio Tony a tropical profile that is so attractive. In this vintage, the Zio Tony is a bit lighter in body than it can be, but that is not a bad thing. All the elements are very well balanced throughout. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2023)

Well, I’m a bit mixed on this one. Upon opening and drinking half the bottle we thought it was a bit grapey. Put it in the fridge for a couple of days and it definitely seems better than the first night. Aromas of red fruits, earthy, and spices. On the bud, it has a nice finish with red cherry, currants, and a spice note. — 3 days ago
The 2021 Zinfandel Giuseppe & Luisa is a vibrant, super-expressive wine. Sweet red cherry, mint, chalk, white flowers and white pepper bring out the higher-toned side of Zinfandel. Medium in body and racy, the Giuseppe & Luisa is a real charmer. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2023)

I’ve been interested in trying this producer and this Pinot was the first wine from the estate I’ve come across here in Sweden. This is full bodied Pinot in its truest form. Very tasty stuff packed with flavour. Ripe berries. baking spice, liquorice, coffee, cola, pastilles. This is hedonistic but the abv (15%, possibly higher?) is almost taxing a couple of glasses deep. — 14 days ago
