A bit rustic on its own but delicious with food. — 9 years ago
Round and fruity (golden apples) with a lovely acidity. — 11 years ago
Although 2013 and very very young consuming at a restaurant we got to enjoy it a lot more as the time passed and it was decanted. This will be a beauty - shame but still lovely! — 11 years ago
Incredibly smooth and delicious — 12 years ago
Smoky minerals, black cherry, orange peel, violets, spice cake, licorice- just a few notes. There’s a lot going on here and it’s intensely satisfying. Grainy tannins, very lengthy finish. Just a superb young Morgon with effortless style and composure whose best years are still well ahead. — 7 years ago

Benchmark producer of Pouilly-Fume for me. The 2010 was a bit more polished, and the 2011 a bit more feral. I love both sides of SB. — 11 years ago

Wow! So drinkable! — 10 years ago
Of six RdDs, this was my favorite. At bit closed at first, then smoky meats and raisins. Full bodied and powerful with ripe cherries, oak and chocolate on the finish. Surprising, since it was one of the cheapest of the evening. — 11 years ago
Very good! In a great place, has some yrs left — 12 years ago

Very bright and sappy. Clear lemon, good minerality and a peachy midpalate. Great clarity- still dynamic with a flinty backbone — 7 years ago
