Deepest of Ruby color. Amazing nose with a hint of cinnamon. I’m a big fan of Malbec but the petit Verdot really balances this wine out. Great legs and deep color make a visually appealing drink. Tons of fruit and mild tannins to balance the fruit out. Drinking this wine on Christmas Eve and I feel a little guilty like I opened a present early. Trefethen never disappoints. — a year ago
Good not great. Light and a bit nondescript. Not sure it’s worth the shipment but good if the price is right. — 3 years ago

Long and slow legs with a iridescent maroon color. Huge bouquet on the nose with a tiny hint of cardamom. I will admit that I was cutting garlic so the florals might have been more dramatic ha! Burst of juiciness upfront that tapers into a tea-like body with the perfect amount of dryness on the finish. Prominent tasting notes I get are strawberry and wildflower honey. Honey stays on the finish with a mild heat that dissipates pretty quickly. One of the better Pinots I’ve had in quite some time! — 3 years ago
I shall be the first to rate the 2016 vintage.. I find this Chardonnay to be almost perfect. I am usually not a fan of chards but Trefethen has the talent to make it palatable for every drinker. It has a marshmallow touch to it, light golden color, apricot on the nose and slightly lemony on the back of the tongue and tingly at the very top. — 6 years ago

Notes if blackberry and light finish. — 2 years ago
Dry, nice acidity, very light (only 12% alcohol), goes great with oysters and fish. And not overly sweet, so good to drink on its own without feeling like you are drinking a desert wine. — 3 years ago
Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 6 years ago

Enjoyed this ultra full bodied Cab with nice steak. Let this bottle breathe a good 4-5 hours before serving. And then decanter. It was worth the wait. — 7 months ago
