Crisp, floral, balanced, light acidity, buttery. Great with bouillabaisse. — 5 years ago

Thick, lush white blend Chateauneuf du Pape, mild fruit, but dry, at Joshua’s in Wells Maine — 8 years ago
Really great fruit purity. Definitely young but damp earth, cherry and cured meat were well defined. Palate was elegant and toned. 4-5 years would do this well. — 9 years ago
A fresh, mineral-driven nose with notes of wild flowers and touches of citrus and pear. The palate is very dry with ripe, full acidity. Lush, round flavors of crunchy pear and lemon zest lead to deep stony notes. The wine finishes a touch fruity and juicy with long, ripe acidity and a touch of earthiness. A wonderful pairing for good cheeses. — 9 years ago

Light, spicy red paired with turkey — 11 years ago
Field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir from the Engelgarten, a vineyard with poor, gravelly soils located just outside the walls of Bergheim (about 10 miles north of Colmar, in the Haut Rhin). Pure, expressive nose with notes of citrus, rubber and minerals. Intense, dry, textured. Slightly ripe. Long, saline finish. — 4 years ago

Dry, oxidized and extracted. Aromatics showing more austere Pinot Gris than Gewürztraminer. — 7 years ago

Crapped rainbows in my brain! Very complex but make sure you have a sweet tooth at 76 g/L — 9 years ago

Light and dry but funky, almost yeasty tannins mixed with berries. Distinct old vine Chilean varietals that I would like to see more of. — 5 years ago

Unexpected dark fruit on the front but citrus at the end. Pretty delicious. — 8 years ago
2005 vintage on De 20, 2017 at Sun River, OR with skillet roasted lemon chicken (Ina Garten). Tasted alongside a 1999 Raptor Ridge Shea Vineyard to compare and contrast. Elegant and mature C-d-Pape at the peak of its life. Fully developed with a lot of great life left but also no need to wait to drink. This why we love C-d-Pape. Bought at K&L wine auction in 2017. — 9 years ago
Almost identical to Amayna from Chile, with a dry touch. Easy to enjoy. — 9 years ago

Its just a great Wine. I'm not a big sauv blanc fan (pairings not withstanding) but this is just good. Well balanced, mineraly, veggies, herbs on the nose it's awesome. — 11 years ago
