12/25 wine was nicely resolved after 15 years. Big, rich, dark wine. 89 — 7 months ago
Simple Merlot Lagrein Blau blend but I’m not sure why it’s so compelling. Delicious. — 3 years ago
Full bodied and really great with steak. Have had this twice and loved tasting at the winery. — 4 years ago

Wonderful Long Island Bordeaux-style red blend from a winery that no longer exists. Blend of Cabernet Franc (50%), Malbec (25%) and Petite Verdot (25%). Dark ruby/purple color with just a bit of fade on the rim. Aromas of black/blue fruit, granite dust and intense lavender. Flavors of black cherry/currant fruit, blueberries, leafy herbs with a mineral backbone from start to the end of the very long finish. Touch of a pleasant phenollic funk. Medium bodied and well balanced. Silky tannins and quite complex. This bottle aged nicely. I miss visiting the “tasting shed” at this winery. — 4 months ago
Color: actually copper like, amber, orange like the setting sun
Aroma: light light apricot, a bit of brown sugar
Tasting Notes: super well balanced, honey, caramel, stone fruit (apricot)
Texture: slight twirl of tannins and acidity but in a nice congruence, a nice balance , bouncy texture, like drinking clouds of sunset — mouthwatering — 3 years ago
Light in a good way. Fine and correct. — 4 years ago

Another solid vintage of this NZ Sauvy B. Bright golden color with green highlights. Aromas of citrus, fresh herbs/grass and tropical fruit. Flavors of grapefruit, lime, passion fruit with a mix mineral/wet stone based backbone. Distinct saline note on the long and crisp and clean finish. Bright acidity and medium body and alcohol (13.5%). Solid freshness and precision. Enjoyed with Asian food at Youyu in the Hard Rock in Atlantic City. — 4 months ago

Super fun summer bottle — 6 years ago
Apricot, Bosc pear, chamomile, mango, spice // less complex and full-bodied than the usual Friulian suspects (but also a fraction of the price) // another impressive indication of what LI wines can do, and where they might be going. . . 🚨 — 7 years ago
