Visol Gran Reserva Brut Nature Macabeo-Xarel-lo-Parellada 2013

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2013 “Visol” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of peach, lemon, light brioche, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. There is a chalky mineral and almost fino sherry-like finish, which is medium. Mestres does such a great job. Drink now. — 8 hours ago
