Barnyard smell at first. Lots of cranberries and ripe red fruit. Durable, but with a light finish. — 5 years ago

Superb White from Northern Italy! Very Aromatic. Green grass, floral, and stone fruit. Great texture and a slight minerality, lemon, and herbs. This would make a great everyday white. — 4 years ago
1st time to drink Marco Felluga’s reds. Loved the balance of the fruit and how approachable it was to drink. Quite impressed!! — 6 years ago

Hell yes. Delicate, balanced big refreshing bubbles for summer. This Italian sparkler from the Veneto is comes from master Barolo-maker Livio Sassetti as part of his war against over-sulfured Italian bubbles. Pink pomegranate, candied tangerine peel and guava notes with a hint of plum - from the Merlot, no doubt. Elegant, zesty and flamboyant with an in-your-face creamy finish. Extra-dry spumante, like extra-dry Champagne, is in the range we call "off-dry" in absolute terms. For reference, wine that is still in the absolute dry category can have up to 9 grams of residual sugar; this wine has 12; cocacola clocks in at 110. — 8 years ago

Inky black with hardly any ageing on the rim.
Needs a bit of time to blow the age stink off… the shows ripe dark fruit, some kirsch, but also some age sowing with balsamic notes, a bit leather & roast.
On the palate this is not shy, full bodied, quite powerful, with still quite a tannic frame. Big, rich & ageing… which actually makes it interesting.
Quite nice with a simple barbecue. — 2 years ago
