Nice everyday wine. No dry tannins. — 5 years ago

A blend of Grenache from the right side of the Rhone river and Syrah from the left side cooler adds some freshness — 12 years ago
Spicy, light, fresh yet with quite some character. Fresh red fruit (strawberries & cherries) with a spice undercore.
On the palate this is light yet with presence and a nice tannic frame. I wasn’t expecting this fragility, but it’s really nice. And despite the lightness this has presence and character.
A lovely wine! — 8 months ago
Ripe, dark fruit on the nose. Tart cherry a d ripe fruits. Nicely balanced. — 6 years ago
150m / red clay, wow aromatics, raspberry. Pepper. — 8 years ago
Surprisingly light. It starts with a floral overlay - it's there then dissipates into a light finish and then gone. Any easy drink — 12 years ago
A bit muted on the nose for the first few hours, this eventually opened up with some raspberry fruit to go along with its mineral backbone. Not quite worth what I paid for it but not terrible either.. — 9 months ago
CV pre dinner tasting. Color lighter than Gavi but nose shows oxidative notes melon ripe fruits. Softer texture roundness on palate. Long grippy finish that’s unexpected. Two more bottles to try. CV second bottle, less oxidative and fresher nose and palate. Upping to 9 — 10 months ago
Just delish (VR). — 4 years ago
Mildly floral and only barely perceptible spice in the nose, with a fresh, dry, tannin feel and lovely medium finish that imparts only a hint if sweet ... I f***ing love this wine. It earns all its own points on taste, but gets an additional honourable mention for being UNDER $20. Buy a case or three right now and thank me later! — 8 years ago

What a great wine! Pinot Noir from the Cote Champenois. Very mineral, with some nice red fruit on the palate. You can taste where a Blanc de Noir gets its profile from in this wine. Great to have this “Grand Cru” with some age on it (9 years). I picked up two bottles up in the silent bid auction of the 2025 Wine on Wheels event. Such a lucky buy. Enjoyed with home cooked grilled lamb, sautéed mushrooms with a Sherry reduction, asparagus and wild rice medley. Pretty good, although probably a touch better with something more along the lines of poultry (roast chicken or duck, maybe turkey). — 8 months ago
