Delicious! Balanced between affordable-good American style cab-based red and something more austerely French. Hard for me to guess the grape(s), but is there a touch of cab franc? Has definitely benefited from six years of age. — 7 years ago

Crimson in colour. Sappy cherry aromas - earthy notes. Sour cherry flavours, juicy red fruits, some spice. Light to medium bodied palate and tannins. Apparently a little bit of Chardonnay goes into the blend with the Gamay. Obviously more a summer than a winter drink but curiosity got the better of me. I don’t drink much Beaujolais but this was highly recommended by Roscoe at Prince Wine Store in South Melbourne. Congratulations @PrinceWineStore for being named in the Top 10 Wine Stores in the World! Saw the list in the regular email I get from Acker in New York. Acker were #1 ; Berry Bros and Rudd in London were #2 . — 5 years ago
