First time having the '11 vintage. I think J Carillon's "Perrieres" expressions are among the best white burgs out there, even comparable to giants like Coche and Roulot. The '11 maybe drank a little hot, but the characteristic perfume of pears and apricot, the mellow lemon curd and racy acidity, the way it developed in the glass, made me sad to drink the last drop. — 9 years ago

Surprisingly, I loved village bottle more. Perrieres seemed a bit too tight and even with some weird sweetness to it. Not a hint of oxidation, but very wobbly and all over the place, all while staying rather closed up. — 10 years ago

3L Pierre Yves Colin Morey Les Perrieres Mersault. Bday dinner at Tap. Double-decanted it. JW and DS thought it might have been corked. Slightly better after decanting twice. Still had that wet dog, musty smell to it. Was much better the next day at lunch. Much more drinkable at lunch and peeps enjoyed it then.
