First time having the '11 vintage. I think J Carillon's "Perrieres" expressions are among the best white burgs out there, even comparable to giants like Coche and Roulot. The '11 maybe drank a little hot, but the characteristic perfume of pears and apricot, the mellow lemon curd and racy acidity, the way it developed in the glass, made me sad to drink the last drop.

Stupidly good. Electric. So pure, so balanced. Hard to describe. You just need to drink some.
