Crisp- citrus with some lemon honeysuckle. it’s oakey, but not too much. Getting my fill of white before it becomes too cold and need to dip in the reds! — 6 years ago

2010 Forte from The Vineyard at Florence in Texas. Made from 100% Lenoir (which is actually a native Texas grape that formed a natural hybrid with a Spanish grape), it’s full-bodied, rich & fruity. Very much like a pure Syrah with a touch of pepper & spice. Soft tannins & a smooth finish make it one of the best Texas wines I’ve ever had! Cheers🍷 — 6 years ago

Love this wine. Had with snapper device type dish at lenoir restaurant in austin. Crisp. Pear flavor. Light but not too light. Tom said this is a really food wine. 13 per glass 52 per bottle — 8 years ago
Colour is starting to fade around the edges already. It's smells like dried red fruits. Cranberry, strawberry, some darker cherry. There is some undergrowth and dried rose petals. It does taste like it is more developed than you would expect for the age but at the same time I really like where it's at. The savoury dried red fruits are still there, it's earthy, more undergrowth, iron and a little sappy. Kept changing in the air. Exactly how I like my Pinot. — 9 years ago

Medium pink color. Smells like strawberries and pomegranates on the nose. Tastes like cranberries, strawberries, and raspberries. Intense, but balanced acidity with a long finish. Nellie likes it too! — 3 years ago
