From a 16 acre vineyard in the hills of Bel Air. Probably the most expensive vineyard property in the US. It’s currently owned by Rupert Murdoch, but this is from before his purchase in 2013. This is legit good. Much better than any Malibu wines I’ve had. 13.8 listed alcohol and fairly restrained style. Let’s rip down all of those mansions and plant some grapes! — 4 years ago
Legit drank a whole bottle by myself. — 5 years ago
Super legit. At its peak was throwing off this petrol gasoline wrapped dark berry profile. Tannins are friendly here. Concentration is balanced. I could drink this regularly. Very friendly Italian not much abrasive. Rare! — 6 years ago
Legit. Big structure. Good fruit. Gorgeous. — 7 years ago
So enjoyable. Flavorful, big finish that lingers with tannins that last for days. This wine (and winery) are legit. — 8 years ago
dried cherries, leather, smoke aroma. Savory on the palate with flavors of dried meat, plums, herbs and more dark cherry/raspberry fruit. soil/rock = mineral, yet Supple finish with fine tannins. Legit. (94 WS) — 9 years ago
Underwhelming. Love the producer, however. — 2 years ago
2008 mega legit. — 7 years ago
Stunning varietal expression with an even better “how’d that happen” story. Couple that w/ a legit RSA winemaker/vineyard-manager and you have a solid 90+ BOMB! Taste = Rhône Syrah meets Northern Tip Burg Pinot. Best part is the price: $20 at Wegs! More please!! — 8 years ago
very pleasant, elegant, all kinds of cherry, raspberry and red currant on nose, some red florals, spice and an herbal note. great varietal typicity w/out carbonics - legit, classic style, has many more years ahead, mild tannins and decent acidity make this versatile for food options — 8 months ago

Purchased at winery: legit Priorato here with that schisty style, took forever to open, disintegrated cork, and I almost lost hope - eventually yielded stunning eclectic & complex nose of dusty minerals, cherry & blackberry compote, medicinal, spice, a hi-toned note, really evolving. Smooth rich luxurious on palate, great density & mouthfeel, tons of minerals & red & black fruit w/just enough acidity to balance it all out. Persistent finish. This isn’t their hi end bottling, and it isn’t Clos Mogador or anything like that, but this is absolutely Priorato with some more life ahead. — 4 years ago
Sangiovese Rose- legit! — 5 years ago
Speechless. Extremely defined and elegant. Hype is legit. — 7 years ago
Mad legit, gorgeous nose, pure, nuanced spine with plenty of juice and downright pinot yumminess. Crisp morello cherry, pomegranate, cranberries, blood orange, ferns, earth, Ceylon cinnamon, sandalwood, raspberry leaf, sweet herbs, ground volcanic rocks. Gorgeous floral backdrop to the wine. Structurally its nuanced, plenty of definition and focus with this juicy mid-palate, nice length and silky tannins, bright acid drives the wine. Stoked on this 🔥 — 8 years ago

had a similar experience as @Peter Sultan as far as finding this was a quixotic blend of Old World and New World - nose & palate was not at all reticent for us: there was such a purity of flavors & aromas from deep rich black fruit, cassis, minerals, meat, pepper... so legit - not a hair out of place, — 3 months ago
