This wine was honey in a glass with a touch of acidity to balance it out. Notes of peaches and honey on the palate. It was fantastic with buffalo wings, which makes sense because Gewurztraminer translates to ”spicy grape.” — 7 years ago
Delectable this was the Pinot Noir. Having a nice pre performance meal prior to the “Book of Mormon “ at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre - Lyric Theatre - which was hilarious I thought. The wine was young, my first 2018 Red - fresh and simple. Some foresty and red fruit aromas. Good intensity for the price. — 7 years ago
Surprisingly sweet with honey, lychee, ginger, honeysuckle, and succulent peach. Quite marvelous Alsace deliciousness. Went with my chicken tikka masala very well. Sweet matched the spices. A slight bit of that Gewürtz pepperiness at the end but only noticeable after it’s opened up a bit. — 8 years ago

Tuoksussa pursuaa petroli ja eksoottiset hedelmät. Suutuntuma on leveä ja hedelmäisen makea. Happorakenne on tyylikäs ja maltillinen kantaen makua pitkään. — 9 years ago
This wine is absolutely amazing. It pours into the glass as a deep yellow/gold that sort of looks like Chardonnay that has gone around the bend. It has a vermouth-y nose with a whole bunch of maple, vanilla, and celery (!?!?!). When you taste it, it has absolutely not a trace of sweetness. It’s pretty compact at first, but it opens up into something g completely unexpected and delightfully flavorful with a richness that don’t expect ( and really never find) in a white wine. It’s not like anything I’ve ever had, and I mean that in the best way possible. I hope that I can find it in the States at some point as wines from the Jura aren’t very common. Give it a whirl. It’s not for everyone, but quite different and delicious. — 6 years ago

A bit of pear on the nose, lemon too, a tiny bit of wax and chalk lurking in the back. The palate shows as usual a huge acid backbone, this is a wine full of nerves, a good width with a grip, some lemon and pear notes all long. There is a thickness too it which kind of get amplified in mid palate with almost a tannic feel before a very long pear and finish with a slight bitter twist. This is very good. — 5 years ago
