#Riesling #trocken #Kalkmergel *** from 60 year old vines. Very clean, limestone minerality, good complexity and body... finely balanced. #AlexanderLaible — 9 years ago
2014 #Spätburgunder #trocken #AlteReben***--from vines 35 years old...very elegant, high-strung, cherry aromas, aged in French oak 12 months. Still very youthful but with fine potential...lovely #Pinot! #AlexanderLaible — 9 years ago
This is 2013 vintage. Seeing more dry (trocken) Rieslings from Germany and for good reason - they are delicious! Previously have enjoyed the von Buhl dry Rieslings. This wine has a nose of cut flowers and good depth of fruit on palate. Hints of white peach. Low acid cut indicates more drink now style. Will buy more. 17.5+ — 10 years ago

Quite strong for Kabinett, but hey, it's no Mosel...😀 — 8 years ago
Very composed - would be lovely in a couple of years. Nice to see a screwcap. — 9 years ago
Huge fan of Weissburgunder of late, more so than the "Pinot Blanc" that I have had from Alsace or Oregon. The minerality and precision that this grape gives you in the right terroir and dutiful hands that don't do too much is enlightening! #weissburgunder #wine — 9 years ago
2014 #Spätburgunder #trocken "#Muschelkalk" is a very impressive red from soils such as those found in Chablis and, as such, very pronounced mineral character pervades... aged 18 months in French oak... very restrained and understated, but a truly beautiful wine with loads of potential. #AlexanderLaible — 9 years ago
Projector mounting night. Super full thick mouthfeel, delicious minerals — 10 years ago
Super mineral on the nose with a hint of pith. Lemon pith and mineral palate super juicy. There is a not obvious richness and depth if that makes sene. Hint of honey on the finish. Just a hint. A must buy for laible and Chablis lovers. Bought from Fass selections. After an hour subtle peach comes out. — 8 years ago
One day I'm going to qualify in my mind how Laibel is different than producers from other, more exalted Riesling regions. For now, the best I can do is to say that the Klingelberger is to a dry wine from the Wonnegau as a great and classic Chablis is to a wine from Puligny or Chassagne. It's really a quiet sort of excellence and a subtle beauty. — 9 years ago
This #Rosé #trocken** is made from a blend of red varietals... very dry, clean, cherry notes and refreshing like a warm summer day. #AlexanderLaible — 9 years ago
Mango, passionfruit, and salt. remarkable balance between sweet and savory, funky, bright and linear. New favourite. — 10 years ago
The jury is out. This can't be a German white burgundy as the name implies because burgundy refers to the region...TBDrunk. The verdict...mildly "cheesy" inn that pleasant way, nice minerally aftertaste. Basically it's an Evie-pleasing wine - reminded me of a Riesling (I've never met one I didn't like). "Weissburgunder" is the German name for Pinot blanc - merci Wikipedia! — 10 years ago
