— 6 years ago
Great wine - remind me of Austrian reds from blaufrankish by gut oggau - same tension and density. — 7 years ago
Funky and fun! Really opened up after the first hour next round I would decant — 7 years ago
If you can get your hands on one do so. Immediately.
Don't even ask for the price. Just drink it. — 25 days ago
Yep. Yep. Yepppp. Opens like a barnyard door then settles into all sorts of mouthwatering notes that range from herbaceous, fruity, earthy and cherry cola notes. Mineral? Yeah. Acid? Just enough. Balanced. — 4 years ago
Been looking forward to trying this Chilean project from the people at La Stoppa for some time; happy to report that despite being a bit brusk, this vino tinto delivers on the combination of high toned density of La Stoppa rossos and smokiness of old vine pais. — 6 years ago
Vej is not subtle about its affiliation with Orange. This sees a full 90 days of skin contact and reminds me of an equally polarizing wine - Ageno from La Stoppa. I believe they are both made from the same unique grape (unique from Malvasia at that).
If you like orange, if you like juicy hazy IPAs, if you like huge tannin, you’ll love Vej. Beautiful copper gold. Aromas of yeasty peach skin and spiced apricot. Bitter grapefruit and biscuit. — 6 years ago

Barbera 2002. Nose: Cherry, moss. Taste: ripe cherry, earthy funk almost. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything like this but I really enjoyed. I feel like through the earthiness you can really taste the age of the wine. Overall really enjoyed and curious about trying more barbera. — 7 days ago
