Golden apples, bruised pear, gardenias, almonds, honeysuckle, saline, smoke. Rounded acid, medium-plus body, juicy-oily texture, crisp floral-stone fruit-honeyed finish.. Delicate aromatics unfolds nicely into rich texture, mineral driven, highly food friendly. Recommended for Chenin lovers.

Nice wine to finish the evening with a crème brûlée. Not too sweet. Apricot, honey with some crispness. — 4 years ago

Opens with confectioner’s sugar on the nose. The fat kid in me loves it. Pears and wildflowers and acid for days, minerals. Beeswax. Then when it opens it tastes like you’ve sliced into the juiciest grapefruit and are eating it whole with a little honey. Good stuff. Like spatlese. — 6 years ago

Got to enjoy this luscious vintage as a a freebie thanks to the lovely room welcoming at the Wythe Hotel, Brooklyn NY — 7 years ago
Sometimes I have to force myself to buy a white that isn't Loire Valley Chenin ( but without actually leaving the Loire Valley, because that would be crazy.) This Cour-Cheverny made me glad I did. I've only had Romorantin a few times prior, but I loved the tart acidity balanced by a great saline minerality. — 8 years ago

Last bottle. Love this! Blue fruits, good texture but smooth. Can’t get enough of it. TBL — 2 years ago
