Great to finally get this in a glass. PB CH grapes came into the winery pristine, fully intact and healthy. I remember tasting the macros and thinking how they would turn out, given how crisp and fresh they were on the palate with zingy acid and full flavor. Direct translation from vineyard and vintage to bottle, always a hallmark of these wines. Energetic, fresh, bursting with bright flavors of citrus, crisp orchard fruits, chartreuse, and lemon blossom, all backed by a jolt of salty minerality. Focused, nothing excessive, nothing too austere either, very harmonious and even-keeled on all fronts. — 6 years ago
I would buy this again in a heartbeat. — 7 years ago
Light chartreuse color, dry and juicy. Apple and melon, faint citrus zest. Almost a salty, briney remnant. — 7 years ago
Not Chartreuse Taragona , but truly fun. Like. Recommended for navigating the Camino Mallorquine — 8 years ago
Maraschino Luquer w/gin & chartreuse & lime juice: equal parts — 9 years ago
Absolutely classic Loire Chenin. Bruised red apple, wilted/rotting acacia petals, peach nectar, tangerine peel, limestone, herbal notes of chartreuse, cumin, and spearmint, plus a touch of "wet wool"--but fairly clean . Dry with good weight and a bit of apple skin bitterness, juicy acidity. Killer stuff for $18 retail. — 9 years ago
Chartreuse pale. Zest of lemon with sweet round melon flavors. Needs a bit more avid for structure but goes well with grilled octopus. — 4 years ago
Saline and mineral when room temp got chartreuse//low abv herbal amaro vibe and some lasting mezcal vegetal finish — 5 years ago
Pale chartreuse color. Vibrant citrus and orchard fruit scents are complemented by suggestions of jasmine, green tea and chalky minerals. Fresh and incisive on the palate, offering nervy lime, green apple and quince flavors that deepen slowly on the back half and pick up hints of melon and white peach. Plays depth off of energy smoothly and finishes long, dry and precise, with a refreshingly bitter citrus pith note lingering. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, February 2019) — 7 years ago

Chartreuse revelation, courtesy of @Paul Einbund - the most gracious man in San Francisco 🔥🔥🔥 — 9 years ago
Loved this, so wild and complex. I just adore earth driven whites, the fruit is such a background note here. Oyster shells, crushed flint, pine resin, dried orchard fruit, saline, roasted nuts, chartreuse. So much unami and mineral goodness here. High acid, you could mistake for aged Chablis no problem. Killer with roasted chicken and veggies with pickled shallots and fresh dill. — 5 years ago
Quite consistent with my notes from ~6 months ago:
Nose has over-ripe apricot, almond oil, marzipan, meringue cookie and cold butter.
Palate has warmed apricot pie with extra flakey, buttery crust, sweet sand, white flower honey and mango.
Admittedly I love Sauternes and have many bottles, yet it's a rarity on opening and posting to the Community. We paired this bottle with a hard, smoked goat cheese from a local, Hudson valley producer, a solid match of sweet and salty. — 6 years ago
This is amazing. I love chartreuse and had no idea they made a bottle like this. — 7 years ago
Wow. This is incredible. The nose is phenomenal with soft red fruit, barnyardy crap (in a good way, I’m serious), and a sweet herbaciousness that is out of this world.. it reminds me of my favorite cocktail, The Last Word, where the green chartreuse sticks out. Palate is firm but balanced, chewy fruit. Awesome. — 8 years ago

Rather masculine with herbal quality that reminded me of old chartreuse, while being perfectly balanced and very long. Amazing wine. Layers of complexity. Tasted next to 1990 La Tache which was the feminine counterpart - and better QPR, which is a silly concept at this level.... — 9 years ago

Light chartreuse. Expressive, mineral-accented citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by subtle floral and herb notes. Penetrating Meyer lemon, pear, honeysuckle and ginger flavors take a turn to deeper peach and melon with air. Conveys depth but comes off lithe, finishing with sharp definition and resonating floral and mineral flourishes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2021)
