Brilliant. This wine has been reluctant to show the prowess of a 1982 Bordeaux but has evolved recently to show itself worthy of a great vintage and appears now ready for the long haul . Such a delight right out of the gate to enjoy. For those who follow the distinct palate of William Kelley, you will know the place this wine has today — 3 years ago
Touch of light orange pink hue…hint of strawberry, rhubarb, mushroom and forest floor. Just over 12 ABV but bringing enough weight to fool. 70% old vine Pinot and 30% Chardonnay blended due to fires snd smoke taint. Long, savory, grippy finish. Necessity is the mother of invention….decent table companion for late summer produce. — 4 years ago
Most complex of four wines poured by Kelley Fox at dinner in Chicago. Rich, round, ripe with chocolate covered cherry notes with baking spices. This wine drank well but has a long glorious future in front of it. Served with rich chocolate pot of cream with sweet, black huckleberries... the wine drank best by itself. Have yet to find a dry red wine match with chocolate... — 6 years ago
A more nose-shy KFW offering - subtle cherry, raspberry, black tea, cola nut on the nose. Lively, tart palate, lovely sip-friendly palate texture, touch of spice towards the finish, faint tannins. #eolaamityhills — 2 years ago
Burnt sugar in the nose. Great with tomatoe and trout — 3 years ago
Nice bouquet, plum flavors. — 4 years ago
Classy stuff! Bone dry, reticent aroma, but med-full bodied texture and long, raspy, lingering finish. Reminds me of high end Alsatian Pinot Blanc and perfect foil for French/Viet Namese Fusion. Such a pure pleasure. Willamette whites are coming into their own and really rock in’! — 6 years ago
2016 on Nov. 24, 2019. Will open up nicely to well balanced tannins and old barrel woody spice. Let it breath. — 7 years ago

Vivid straw. Mineral-tinged nectarine, tangelo and pungent flowers on the highly perfumed nose. Silky, tightly focused and energetic on the palate, offering juicy citrus and pit fruit and honeysuckle flavors complemented by suggestions of saffron and sweet butter. Shows excellent depth and clarity and finishes minerally and very long, leaving floral and mineral notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, September 2020)

Solid pinot, grassy, delicious. Easy drinking. Grassy to fruit. But not too much. Great with pasta on a Tuesday. — 6 years ago
