Winery in NZ with Katy and Taylor — 5 years ago
This is a beautifully polished single-vineyard Washington wine. It is extremely big and polished, with lots of bright red ripe currant and plum fruits, a silky mouthfeel, and very restrained on the oak. This wine will impress your friends. — 6 years ago
At restaurant north end with Katy Steve. Nicely balanced and perfect food wine especially given the reasonable price vs others. — 7 years ago
Dinner with Steve/Katy with grilled salmon and steak tips. More yeasty and oxidative than remembered when first tasted at V Cafe but paired well with the Asian spiced grilled meats. What a value at discounted $18 at Julio's. — 8 years ago
Katy Wine that Katy brought back from Bordeaux — 9 years ago
Vintage 2009 | a true to type Touraine, certainly not a middle of the road wine. Made from 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Cot. Now eleven years old but still with a certain stubbornness, though one can call this character as well ☺️ I put it a few hours in the decanter and then it went well with a porc cotelet and fresh green beans. A smell with cherries, flint, vanilla, a robust taste with only a slight velvet impression. I like these ‘difficult’ wines that play hard to get. — 5 years ago
Dinner with Katy Steve SRV South end 10/21/17. Excellent food wine. Acidic and energetic and with verve to go with mixed dishes. Have 2009 in stash not yet drank. 49 restaurant charge. — 8 years ago
Smells like chocolate. Very smooth, semi-dry, cherry and berry notes. — 8 years ago
Another winner from Katy. Just terrific. — 9 years ago

Dinner w Bryan and Katy at Crown Super Deluxe, a fancy Benihana w JAPANESE FRUIT TOMATOES and lobster that jumps off the plate and proper Japanese A5 Wagyu (not some American imitation shit). The wine: a Cab franc merlot that’s lighter than you would expect. A recommendation from the house that was a delicious end to the meal, and was perfect w the Wagyu. — 5 years ago
With Phil & Katy at new Berkeley house. A truly clean and vibrant Pinot. Outstanding. — 9 years ago
