Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Deep red with dark edges and aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with vanilla, cinnamon and pepper spices, with cola tones. Fine tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a lingering finish. Will age well for another decade.

Dark ruby in color with a red rim.

Weird nose of barnyard mixed with red berries and blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, currants, oak, cloves, metals, dirt, wet stones, cinnamon, herbs and black pepper.

Medium plus in body, with medium acidity and smooth with nice legs.

Fruity on the palate with blackberries, strawberries, plums, cherries, oak, cloves, chocolate, earth, leather, cola, peppercorn and minerals.

Long finish with very soft tannins (almost none) and tart cranberries.

This is a Nice Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley in California.
Felt more like a Syrah/ Cabernet blend, (maybe even petite Syrah), than a Pinot Noir.

Enjoyable by itself, but better with food. Doesn't need too long to open up.
I paired it with a Chicken dish.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

2013, solid Pinot. Not as good as the tasting room memories, but still solid. Hard to find in SD, so enjoyed every sip.
