Took about an hour in decanter to wake up but this turned into a beauty — 4 years ago
Bright. Light funk. Delicious. — 5 years ago
Tasty, a little jammy, and un peu pétillant. — 7 years ago
Third rating for this: started at 10 degrees , and warmed up to around 15-18 in a warm 29 degrees tropical Singapore. Was fresh, crisp, lemon-like at first, followed by zesty mandarin orange flavours that finally matured to mellow honey apricots. Best of all coloured like the upcoming Chinese New Year - perfect gold. — 4 years ago
Rich, toasted caramel apple with incredible complexity. — 4 years ago
The 2016 Blanc de Noirs Presle is an explosion of aromas, flavors and textures. A Champagne of tremendous aromatic intensity, the Presle screams with Pinot character, certainly more so than the earlier wines in this range. The Presle emerges from a tiny parcel of measuring 0.25 hectares planted with 10 different Pinot clones over 15 rows. It is beguiling, nuanced and so full of character. I love the energy here. Zero dosage. Disgorged: April, 2020. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2020) — 4 years ago
Solid Cornas with 10 years on it. A lite smokiness on the nose to start, and a hint of it lingers, enhancing the profile. Smooth, with a bit of chocolate, earth and mushroom on the palate. Clean, dark red but almost Nebbiolo-like in color. Enjoyed with the New Hampshire Chicken for 2, all three sauces (tarragon, morel, and Coq Au Vin), mushroom and spinach fricassee, and thick cut French fries at Le Coq Rico. — 7 years ago
My idea of liquid dinner. Dark berries, smoky, tobacco, spice, violet, meaty, dark tannins. — 7 years ago

It's sharp. Dark fruit (a plum for sure) and leather. Short oaky finish. — 4 years ago
Just a ridiculous value at <$25 from fass selections. Definitely agree that this is a long-lived wine - this is at its best 4+ hours into decanting, before that the tannins are a bit chewy. But a great example of a Morgon from one of my favorite Beaujolais vintages. Subtle aromatics with great mouthfeel and nice red fruit. Great pairing with a roast Provençal style chicken. Quite seamless after much air and very nice. — 4 years ago
I’ve got a head cold but this bottle is still rockin. Bottle age has softened the fruit character and emphasized a perfumy floral quality. Bruised red stone fruit, ripe soil, and fresh herbs found out the nose. Fine tannins and juicy acidity are persistent through the long finish. A pretty, elegant bottle that is both interesting and a pleasure to drink. — 7 years ago
Beautiful rose, wish I had bought more than 2 bottles. Great rose, not too sweet, not too dry. Nice balance. Multi flavors and nice finish. — 7 years ago

Killer BdB. Intense acid, lemon curd, and some awesome sea aromas (not salinity). Would love to revisit in 8 years — 3 years ago
