Great moment of pleasure with this Morgon 2013 still alive, and superbly advanced. Aerial notes of dried flowers, rose, peony, fresh strawberry, and pretty evolution notes, truffle, it pinote! The final is permanent, on fleshy tannins with a lot of chew.
— 3 years ago

Blueberry, leather, satisfyingly medium dry finish. Really enjoyed this one. — 3 years ago
Serious potential, if not as balanced or pretty as the 2014. Certainly more dense, inky and tannic than its predecessor. Showing vibrant sour cherry, raspberry, fresh cut purple flowers, spice cake, Asian spice and licorice. Tremendous mineral tension. Feels a bit extracted now but sure to be a winner. — 5 years ago
Had the most structure of all the villages. Savory delicious. — 7 years ago
This beats most producer's Meursault village, and many 1ers. Taught, electric, citrusy precision. — 7 years ago
One of the most successful cuvées of the domain, which gives to taste the possible junction between Beaujolais and Burgundy. Wine with a simple and delicious refinement. The woody notes blend harmoniously with Gamay and terroir notes. All in nuances with a beautiful airy aromatic concentration.

I have always liked Fichets wines but lately I have felt they lack a bit of energy. This however is really nice. A more focused style of Chassagne that I really enjoy. Not a grand wine but very good. — 4 years ago

Congrats Philippe Gimel for this beautiful L'Argile 2010!
One of the best L'Argile we had!
Much Kirsch and dark berries in the nose, some licorice, chocolate, forest floor and floral aromas like lavender and as Jeb said dried flowers.
Harmonic mouthfeel and a fresh very long finish. — 7 years ago
