Wowie holding up great. Thought it was raisiny to start with but it then went in reverse and tightened up with an hour. Really lovely dried herbs, red fruits, sandalwood and a little nag champa. Stellar and super fun to try a 22 year old Pinot. It could be nothing other than California and honestly SLH in particular which is a good thing because Burgundy belongs in burgundy and the Pisoni’s belong in SLH. Bravo — 2 years ago

Geez, this is tremendous. 2007 w/ massive sweet, smooth,Rhône style fruit. - lots of cassis & blueberry. Likely the Mourvèdre & Petit Syrah together...So syrupy - really rich & tasty. Nice little 13yr old! — 5 years ago

Incredible Bordeaux; definitely in my top 10; 2000 vintage recommended by “1001 wines”; it delivered. Very smooth, warm, delicate, long lasting fruit without offensive oak or smoke, but still feel their presence. Bravo! — 7 years ago

Wow. Tight at PnP but has opened and shown itself over last 24 hrs. Layered, mature, deep, luscious. Blackberry compote, leather, plum preserves, baking spice, white pepper. Still nice balance and solid tannins. — 4 years ago
