Like liquid raisin, very good. — 7 years ago
Nice champagne but honestly slightly underperformed my expectations. Bubbles were quite strong at first. But overall this is precise and pure - laser focused in fact. Doesn't have the yeasty / lees-y complexity that I normally like but obviously a ver nice wine. — 8 years ago
70/30 Pinot/Chardy, 75 months on lees (!), 100% Grand Cru fruit, low dosage (extra brut), disgorged October 2015, pure indulgence, spectacular drinking. — 9 years ago
Extra time on the lees gives it that touch of breadiness I love #champagne — 9 years ago
#krug always has that magic combination between lees and #minerality @krugoli — 10 years ago
100% PM. Spends 60 months on lees. Lots of red berries on the nose. Very round and soft in the mouth building all the way to the finish. Long, delicate finish. — 10 years ago
Lees aged Albariño! — 11 years ago
🏅 Rating 87+/100 (3,75🌟)
Persistent mousse. Nose of bruised apples, peach and some other stone fruits. Not enough acidity to reach a perfect balance.
One of the most famous Cava. Grower crafted Spanish bubbly. Family owned. Single vineyard. Biodynamic cultivation. 7 years aged on lees. Brut Nature with zero dosage. Blend 75/25: Xarel.lo/Macabeu.
It has everything that you can think of to please wine enthusiasts, but imho it is still light years away from Champagne. Good on its own, but I choose Champ. — 7 years ago
Oh my fuckin ghod!!!!! Caramel & smoke. Unbelievable!

Age your Muscadet, people. I mean, absolutely drink it young (the '15 is stellar), but lose a few in the back of your cellar. While this isn't as zippy as it once was, it's gained layers of complexity as the citrus gets more honeyed and burnished, and the lees character becomes somehow both more forward and more integrated. Worth contemplating. I think I paid $11? — 8 years ago
(19/20) Сложный, красивый букет ароматов вишни, малины, кураги, инжира, шоколада, табачных листьев и баттерскотча. Великолепно сбалансированная структура. Отличная концентрация вкусов. Продолжительное послевкусие. Мечта! — 8 years ago
Great with bean salad, its saline and heat makes it fish worthy — 9 years ago
140 months on the lees!! Fresh as a daisy. — 11 years ago
Yummy and cheap! Good to drink alone — 12 years ago
Rich, toasty, big. 5 years lees, 4 years after disgorgment. More chard. Spice. Nice — 7 years ago
@Herbsaint, acid & buttery are calibrated deftly by 10 yrs on lees. Excited how it will pair w meal — 8 years ago
Intense! I could see why some might not like this, but the full bodied, lees and oak driven vinous wine is just what I wanted! — 8 years ago
Tremendous #Champagne #wine. Smells of dry toasted bread, carbon and golden apples. Tastes range from green/gold apples, dry apple core, slighty doughy from lees aging. Bone dry and refreshing. Classic example. — 8 years ago
On lees. Yeast. Not as round as a typical Godello. Good fun. — 9 years ago
I've heard Winston drank up to 400 bottles a year of Pol Roger and after tasting this beauty... Only the 15th vintage....i know why. Certainly more pinot than any other grape this champagne drank like a wine after it was open for two hours. Delicious and crisp.... Thus monster spent ten years on the Lees but damn it's good. — 9 years ago
This is pretty special.. Burgundian in texture and profile with a distinct muscadet edge. This '03 was only bottled in 2013. That's because it spent 10, yes 10 years on lees... rich yet energetic. Silky yet clearly mineral. Lemon curd, almond, sea salt, pineapple and fresh yeast. Really fantastic, what a surprise from muscadet's newest AOP and one of the Loire's most overlooked regions. 2003 was a nightmare vintage and out comes this magical wine, go figure.... — 10 years ago
Fresh. Great for a summer day. — 12 years ago

Amazing! And so youthful for being 16 years on lees. — 7 years ago
