Very nice, at hotel in Frankfurt — 6 years ago
Reminiscent of good quality Chambolle with a touch more flesh and pliancy. This is stupid good for the price, when I’m old I’ll be bitching about how cheap this was back in the day. High toned, crunchy, deeply earthy and loaded with ripe red/black fruit. The finesse is there. Black cherry, wild strawberry, rhubarb compote, black tea, wildflowers, wet leaves, undergrowth, spice. Again, the elegance coupled with the perfume and harmony this carries really delivers. — 7 years ago
Brownwood 1 May 2018. Very nice! — 7 years ago
2019. Pop of huge Meyer lemon. Unrip Pineapple-mango and dried mango. High viscosity for a dry. Clean acidic finish. — 4 years ago
First experience with a sparkling Scheurebe and impressed by its Riesling like profile with a cleaner albeit tad less complex texture and mouth feel and shorter finish. Good acids to go with our kids selection of Grotto pizza for New Year's Eve dinner! AA 13 German lot — 5 years ago
From Domestique 2014 on 5/2/20. Dry, no effervescence. — 5 years ago
Tasty lil half bottle german pinot noir, nice n minerally. Also half bottles make you feel like you have giant hands when pouring wine — 6 years ago
A shockingly clean and dry Riesling with subtle skittles-like aroma. Significantly more enjoyable on day 2 (a decanter not available to me). I am far from an expert on this stuff but I would imagine some more years under the belt might help this yield more? Acid for days but not aggressive. Just tightly wound. A fascinating encounter. — 7 years ago
Flavors are all over the place on this one. Very interesting and memorable expression of Pinot Gris. — 7 years ago
Red fruit- cherry, strawberry, dried herbs, damp earth and baking spice. M+ acid, m body and tannin. Great structure with minerality and ripe fruit on the palate. — 8 years ago

Visiting Fredericksburg TX for a few days. This is TX hill country and has a big winery community. Never tried any TX wines before but found a few surprises here. We tasted at Becker earlier today but not this wine. $30 on the restaurant wine list. Becker wasn’t our favorite stop but it is the only local winery represented on their list. Overall local wines seemed overpriced compared to CA wines. Just realized we had an older vintage (2018) on our last trip from Houston to Anaheim. It’s interesting that most of the grapes used in the local wines come from Lubbock (panhandle) area. Don’t know where these grapes came from, or what varietals are present. — 4 years ago
