Tranditonally un-chill filtered made whiskey . Sweet smokiness on nose with a long finish — 8 years ago
Got this and a few other Harris Vineyard bottles through an auction at an event. Had never heard of this producer but it's pretty darn good. Cork was perfect for a 2010 and even looked brand new. Big rich Cabernet. Layered with a long finish. Even better with this air. Three hours in and it's singing — 8 years ago
Smooth and smoky, from the Isle of Skye. Another one of the whiskies we tasted at the November Old Line Scotch Club meeting. #talisker #tenyear #whisky #oldlinescotchclub — 9 years ago
Mahogany color. Smooth and soft aromas and flavors of toasted cereal, red fruits, caramel, toffee, honey, chestnut, and Nutella. Long finish, mouth drying but not overpowering tannins. — 9 years ago
Vibrant fresh apple and sea spray nose,
Lead to a austere structured, yet juicy mid palette with a hint of beach plum finishing with a thirst quenching acidity!

Yup...that's Neil Patrick Harris on their Label. Sleight of Hand Cellars got involved in a charity that NPH was apart. They got to talking and found he not only had a love of Magic, but wine as well. The relationship evolved well enough, they asked him if he would be on one of their labels and Neil agreed. The "Sleight of Hand Cellars" label has been seen a few times on "How I Met Your Mother." NPH is also is a club member. The Conjurer is blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot and a splash of Petit Verdot from the Columbia Valley. Nice, fresh nose of; ripe dark currants, blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, black raspberries, black licorice, dark chocolate, soft spice, wood shavings and fresh dark florals. The palate is M+ body & soft M+ tannins with a thick, round mouthfeel. Dark spice, eucalyptus, mint, herb notes, cinnamon, vanilla, clove, chocolate, caramel apple, black licorice, crushed rocks, soft leather, nice, round, acidity and a very well polish finish. This is very easy to drink young and will cellar 10 years. — 8 years ago
Lovely spicy notes, big ol Sweet Mother alcohol bite. Of course the dried black fruits (raisin, prunes/figs, blackberries, etc.) are there in abundance. Big sugar presence, naturally. Cause it's porto. But a nice vaguely cinnamon-y note, too. For tiny dollars at Trader Joe's, a super bargain. — 9 years ago
Only for special occasion. Good or bad. This one is still special — 9 years ago

This was Coravin-ed once, an undetermined amount of time ago. Decanted a few hours before drinking. Delightful. — 8 years ago
Nice balance of sweetness and smoke. Some tobacco tones. — 8 years ago
Very nice rose - strawberry, light touch of peach. Lingers a bit. Nice sipper. — 8 years ago
Bloody good. It had to be as it cost the price of a small duchy.
I have a whole bottle of this greatness with me. Not a good idea.
Taste is sort of dry, not sweet and not bitter...all in equal mix. Taste of lots of stuff. It's been through different cask apparently. Bourbon, Madeira, Port...
Lovely aroma. Doesn't come to hit you right back. — 9 years ago
Jammy flavor a with a hint of robust oak. Flavors roll off the tongue like dandelions in the wind. A whisper of sunflower and jasmine tease the palate and create a titivating explosion of robust decadence . — 9 years ago
Rose gold. Rich aromas and flavors of cherry liquor, cocoa, cereal, vanilla extract, chestnut, blackberry, and a hint of butterscotch. Medium + finish. — 10 years ago
Very caramel nose, roasted peat, candied pear, orange peel, cinnamon & a little bit of iodine, and then a very malty finish! — 10 years ago
Bob McDonald
Smoky Peaty and spirity aromas Also Iodine and Briny notes showing its maritime location. A single malt matured in charred oak casks. There is some conjecture as to whether Talisker is classified as Island or Islay but suffice to say it is the only Distillery on the Isle of Skye. Had a tour of Talisker many years ago after going to the HQ of the MacDonald Clan on Skye. I bought this 1 Litre bottle at Gatwick Airport about 2 months ago before we headed up to Inverness and the Highlands. — 6 years ago
