Drank to celebrate the calling of the election for Biden-Harris ticket and the FACT that Georgia was blue again! — 4 years ago
At 8.99 a bottle this is an excellent blend and the addition of Tannat to the blend gives it a little something that is wonderful. — 5 years ago

An 18th century chateau, overlooking the Isle valley, facing Pomerol and the Saint-Emilion limestone hillsides, belonged to the same family for three centuries took over by Michel Rullier in 1955, and his daughter Brigitte took the helm in 2002. Dark Ruby with an array of berry aromas and smoky scents. On the palate plum and cherry flavors with cacao, tobacco and smoky cedar notes with herb spice. Firm chalky tannins, long finish ending with earthy mineral notes. Still tasting ok, but drink now! — 4 years ago
Golden color tinged with pink. Honeydew, rose petal, strawberries, and a hint of tangerine. Very refreshing. Another great wine from Sharon Harris and the team at Rarecat, — 2 years ago
A rich but now well balanced Zin in that ripe style that I’d likely not have been too fond of when it was younger. Bottle coated with sediment and oak is prominent in how it’s resolved with plummy berry vanilla notes. Back label says a field blend of Zin Carignane and Petit Sirah, Alexander Valley vineyard, vines cultivated on St. George rootstock grafted onto a 75 year old clone of Zin. — 3 years ago
Dark, deep purple color. Lovely aroma of roses, ripe red/black plums and wood-stove. Flavors are elegant and meaty. Some savory, chewy parts and plenty of bing cherry. Also has an inky streak. This is a great cooler climate Zin. Drinks a bit like Merlot, but has a hazelnut or chestnut thing that sings pure Zin. — 4 years ago
