Gamay Rose 2016

Stank-ay! Screams cheese. Once stench blows off, Hermiston melon and thyme comes forth. Bright and funky on the palate, ripe nectarines and fresh mushrooms dance together on a bright palate. — 9 years ago

Air Guitar Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

This was perfect with dinner at Olympia provisions. Such an awesome blend that drinks well on its own but is magical with food. Beaujolais meets Loire meets Portland. So good! — 7 years ago

La Landonne Côte-Rotie Syrah 1997

Tawny and almost opaque. Masculine heavy nose. Notes of black fruit, earth and iron. Rich and silky. Needed 4+ hours of air to open up. Light finish maybe representative of the vintage. Pretty good. No need to hurry on these. — 7 years ago

This. I could a bottle drink of this every night and not feel bad until the next morning when I would feel bad but not about the choice. Vibrant, lively, cassis and hibiscus. A thoughtful, generous wine. — 10 years ago

Crozes-Hermitage Syrah 2009

My favorite producer of Crozes Hermitage. Deep dark color with black cherry, creosote, iron, game bird, garrique very complex, spicy, black pepper on the finish. Need to buy more of this vintage. — 11 years ago

Russian Cuvée Champagne Blend

Bought this in 2014 from Lsat Bottle. Should have bought more, it was a steal at the time and it has gotten even better in the last 5 years. Not too acidic, good amount of yeast, and overall excellent sparkling wine. 69% Pinot Noir, 31% Chardonnay — 7 years ago
