Mrs A and I have been to Mexico many times and always enjoyed, the people, the sites, the food, the beaches, the adult beverages an of course the many wonderful Mexican beers. Sitting up here in the mountains on a hot summer night we can only dream of the many times we have enjoyed a Dos Equis Amber with salsa and chips. This will never be mistaken for a Canadian, but this is truly one of the most refreshing beers around on a hot summer night in the Canadian Rockies. This a really nice wine! I drink each vintage and it's fairly consistent. I paired this Vermentino with an angel hair pasta, bathed in an infused truffle cream and mushroom sauce. All of a sudden my humble California abode felt like I was in Sardinia, Italia! Wine can do that! Isn't that why we love it? BEST with food, warm weather and friendships. Waxing poetic is easy after a few glasses of this beauty. And it's a value play! — 7 years ago

Six months ago my wife and I toured through Italy. On our trip we shipped home some wines that we loved. Adda, the young lady that helped us in Florence, gave us this bottle as a gift. It's certainly not the best wine we shipped home, but it meant the world to my wife and I. Medium bodied with tart red fruit. Light tannins and lingering acidity on the finish. More important is the memory this bottle brought of our vacation and the kindness of Adda. — 9 years ago
