Very dark rubi robe, no signs of 18 year old. From a half bottle which is remarquable. Notes of flowers and spices, medium bodied, balanced, great acidity and fruit. One of the last vintages before JF Mugnier took it back. Great stuff ! — 6 years ago

First thing I notice is the golden color. Very floral, white flowers, can smell the green stem of a flower. Smells very hot, with mineral/shell/slate. Also smells sweet, honey suckle, and butterscotch. Must be oaked at least slightly. Tastes hot, high acidity, citrus notes/grapefruit. Very juicy as well, in guava, pineapple, tropical fruits for sure, and green grapes. Also low mouth feel, aka thin, but it is refreshing. I've never tried either of these grapes and really enjoy it.
