So good, I got more 😋 — a month ago
Splash decanted about 15min prior and served just below cellar temp. The 2015 Santa Chiara pours a brilliant, burnished gold color. No real signs of particles or gas. Medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is medium intensity and remarkably clean! This stands in stark contrast to other orange wines from Paolo Bea like Arboreus and Lapideus which are wild AF. Instead, the olfactory is greeted with the most deliciously fresh smelling Pink Lady apples, apricots, tangerines, and yellow flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry and the tannins, while they grab my attention, are probably closer to medium. Medium…bordering on medium+ acid. On the palate, the pomaceous and stone fruits predominate along with some herbs and minerals all wrapped in a gorgeously textured package. Super well balanced. The finish is long, a touch bitter and provides plenty of zip to work with the Cacciucco that we made for dinner. An absolutely lovely, and quite becoming, orange wine that’s drinking so well right now. Bottle #4419/6400. — 2 months ago
N: lemons with saline and white flowers
P: refreshing and bright, crisp with a little fleshy fruit on the mid palate. Lots of lemon, hint of white peach, lots of salinity, maybe a hint of cheese rind , almond, and green herbs

Reminds me a lot of Garnacha Blanca. Banana, apricot and yogurt on the nose. On the palate it retains a lot of stone fruit flavors. Flavorful finish. #biancoditorgiano #torgiano — 2 months ago
Zingy! Love the plus-level acidity and sparkles just a bit. Opens into strawberry, white peach, and lighter-noted flowers. Medium body. One bottle may not be enough. — 4 months ago
N: lemon and limes, green apples, white flowers
P: + white peach, pear, lemon zest, herb hints and spritzy minerality on the finish.

Antinori branco de Orvieto muito redondo e não ácido — 4 months ago
Not anymore a straight Sauvignon i got told
It has grechetto, riesling and perhaps trebbiano and malvasia too
It doesn't lose its marvellous mineral character
It resembles a Sancerre made with very ripe grapes, in fact there is a tendency with Matteo Ceracchi to harvest the Sauvignon at least, as far as I know, 10 to 15 days later than usual
Complexity benefits from this and still the wine doesn't lack freshness
It's long and promising
I am very happy i found a Matteo's wine so well made again after such a long time i hadn't tried it
Try it yourself if you can
Ps. I love the statement on the back label

Wow, what a surprise. This wine has aged beautifully with great acidity and texture. The oak was restrained but the body still rich on the palate. Great with our roasted mushroom pizza. — 22 days ago
